A Dream Among Another Dreams!

While these works were being shaped, I constantly sought to look at nature and a representation of its image. The image will be neither altogether real nor thoroughly fantastical, for it comes from my take on the nature as it is conceived in my mind through the impact of various media. Based on Baudrillard’s definition of representation, the conception of his notion is positioned on a plane that, as an alternative for reality, blurs the line between reality and dream. Thus, these works have been created in a reciprocating motion between the represented notion and my personal experience.
Is the sky the same everywhere?

In this collection, I’ve taken a look at the sky and I’ve tried to understand it. While creating this collection i was facing the question: is the sky the same everywhere? Generally this collection for me is totally a painterly endeavor. by choosing this apparently simple subject, I’ve tried to put myself in this painterly challenge. According to this point that observing nature have a long background in the art history, this attempt proved to be quite difficult as I tried to include a personal vision, in addition to the concentration on painterly deeds. Therefore I realized that the skies are not just blue, not always beautiful, and sometimes they are a frightening carrier of a fear and they sweep the borders of our existence with their heavy presence. But the skies are also the best companions to young lovers, sometimes while raining, sometimes through a spring sunshine, they are pure poetry, they have a thousand spirits. I realized that not only the palette of the skies isn’t just blue, but also it’s as vast as the skies themselves. Simply I knew that the skies are so huge, but they also placed themselves in my small canvases with modesty. They never rained and if they did, we would cry together… This is the mystery of the skies that they share with every painter with generosity. This is not my discovery, it’s known to every painter in the world.
